Can anyone confirm the Word (Bit) Length and Sampling Rate (Frequency) via optical out (Toslink) when playing SACD with the latest firmware?
I heard its 24bit/176khz but was wondering if this spec is only during the conversion stage rather than the digital output stage. |

The 24-bit 176 kHz PCM signal is actually output -- if your HDMI receiver can handle that -- as some receivers will show on their display. |

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, but is it the same for via optical toslink as well, not just via HDMI? |

Did they put the SACD via DTS on optical back on the 2.30 update? _________________ KRZY |

Maximum resolution and sampling rate via optical is most probably 24 bits and 96 kHz. |
