Amazon Video On Demand basically replaces the Unbox download service introduced last year, and offers a substantial number of movies and TV series.
Amazon has not yet confirmed our query whether a VOD service for PlayStation3 is in the offing.

This Sony press release announced Amazon VOD for TVs with Bravia Internet Video Link so clearly Sony's not opposed to this.
Let's see what will happen. Perhaps it's only a matter of Sony developing the 'client' software for PS3. Then again, I could imagine Sony wanting to run every such service through the PlayStation Store. |
