There is a new DSD plugin for foobar. It's quite excellent, already. Perhaps a news item should be made for it?

Good point. Will do.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Strange: this site suggests there is a v1.2 while the link above only shows 1.1. Perhaps there's a 'beta' in circulation. Also, the site lists Sony Corporation as developer instead of kode54...

Haha. yeah, that site software.informer.com is just one of your typical SEO-optimising quasi spam sites.....I've been in contact with the developer and I don't think he's sharing a beta...he'll release the next version when it's ready...sounds like it'll include DSF support too - hey I wonder if DSD Disc support could be added....giving a universal PC DSD Disc playback solution, even if it's only a PCM solution and not a pure DSD solution.

In fact, it's up to you but maybe wait to make the news items until he releases the next version with support for all the dsd formats....but i guess I have no idea how long that might take...

Software Informer is an interesting idea, but the actual execution is total rubbish. The information listed there is rarely accurate.

It has been in existence for about 2 years now, and no real improvement has been seen.

I already had that impression. And stupidly we've now pushed up their page rank even further.
