Spun this last night for the family and friend.
Great old title , arguably THE scifi movie of the 1950s. Even the FX stand up today.
Nicely done disk, recommended to anyone who likes the old stuff.
Video quality was pretty impressive. Soundtrack was good, keeping in mind this movie is from 1956, and not mixed like today's films. What was there was accurately presented.
And the 12 year old enjoyed it too. |

I was referring to the Blu-ray. It is the same encode as was released on the HD-DVD some time ago so that would have pretty equivalent quality.
Blu-ray was about $16 on amazon when I got it a couple weeks ago. Pretty good deal at that price. |
