Got this as a free download as recompense for Sony's tomfoolery with PSN.
Have to say it is a good, involving game, as most of the reviews said. Played it all the way through once, something on the order of 12-15 hours of game play, and enjoyed most of that time pretty well. It does not suffer much from the "grinding" of a lot of decent length games where you have to perform perfunctory actions just to increase your character's abilities enough to move to the next level of play.
Basic premise is you're given some "electrical" powers in a ravaged city, which you unwittingly caused to be ravaged. You square up against a series of villainous gangs with different leaders, and can choose to act virtuously or not, and your abilities and missions develop along which path you take.
Game dynamics are fun, story is decently developed. I liked it enough I may even pop for the recently released sequel while it is still near full price. |
