Well, finally got around to watching my POTC AWE BD last night. Beautifully produced BD, but unfortunately my least favorite of a trilogy I only liked mildly to begin with.
PQ was pretty beautiful, other than the inevitable increased grain in some fo the darker scenes.
Try Spiderman 3 tonight, see if I like that better, movie-wise.

I knew LotR but it took me a minute to figure out PotC means Pirates of the Carribean.
Talking of trilogies, I wonder -- now that Warner has turned fully to BD -- when we'll see The Matrix Trilogy on Blu-ray Disc. |

For a while it was confusing when Passion of the Christ was out, but not so much discussion online of that anymore.
Ended up watching the SD DVD of King Kong last night. Try Spiderman 3 tonight.

Well, finally got around to Spiderman 3. Very nicely done disk, nothing to pick on in video or audio quality. And I actually enjoyed the movie quite a bit. I may even like it more than the other two, which is a bit of a surprise. Have to watch again.
