No comment on Half life or TF2 as I have not played them yet, but Portal is probably the most fun I've had with a game in quite a while.

Saw none of the issues with the EA port some people have complained about, although loads were boggy,

It's on sale for $40 right now at Target and Waldemart. Most and best humor IMO of any FPS.
