DSD recorders

Making your own SACDs unfortunately isn't possible but the closest thing to it is creating DSD Discs -- a stereo DSD signal recorded on a blank DVD. You can read how to in our DSD Disc guide.

To capture audio in DSD format you'll need a DSD recorder. Here's an overview of professional and semi-professional ('prosumer') 1-bit digital stereo audio recorders. All are from Korg. Thus far, Sony has not released any such products, only professional workstations and studio equipment.
